Finnish Biscuit is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. scalded milk, cooled, 1 stick margarine, melted, 3/4 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. sugar and 2 pkg. dry yeast in 1/2 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix together.

Add flour, stirring, until thick.

Knead until smooth.

Let rise in greased bowl until double (cover with plastic wrap).

Shape as desired (buns, cinnamon, rolls or coffee cake) or rolls as if making cinnamon rolls.

Don't cut.

Put in round pan; make circle.

Slash with scissors.

Let rise until double.

Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes (rolls 25 minutes).

Frost with powdered sugar icing, nuts and cherries or 1/3 cup hot coffee with 2 tablespoons sugar.

For glaze, sprinkle with sugar.
