Cream together Crisco, sugar and eggs.
Add vanilla and dry ingredients.
Best to chill first.
On floured board, roll out 1/4-inch thick.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and put filling in center of each cookie.
Make another cookie and place on top, pressing sides together.
Prick tops 2 or 3 times.
Bake at 365Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
