Fig Jam
Fig Jam is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. mashed ripe figs (about 20 medium figs), 1 (6 oz.) or 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin, 3 c. sugar and 1 tsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Thoroughly mix figs, gelatin, lemon juice and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour quickly into glasses or jars.
Cover at once with 1/8-inch of hot paraffin.
Makes 6 medium glasses.
