Festive Fudge
Festive Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2/3 c. pet evaporated milk, 12 regular marshmallows, 1/2 c. margarine and few grains salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Mix in a heavy 2-quart saucepan the sugar, milk, marshmallows, margarine and salt.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over the top).
Boil and stir 5 additional minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in until completely melted the chocolate pieces, then add nuts and vanilla. Spread into a buttered 8-inch square pan.
Cut into 30 pieces.
