Festive Cake
Festive Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix and sift flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; stir in almonds.
Beat eggs slightly; combine with oil, almond extract, bananas and undrained pineapple.
Add to dry ingredients; mix thoroughly but do not beat.
Spoon into well oiled 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for one hour and 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove from oven; let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
Invert onto wire cake rack; remove pan.
Cool thoroughly before frosting.
