Feather Scones
Feather Scones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 4 tsp. baking powder, 2/3 tsp. salt, 4 tbsp. shortening and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Sift flour with baking powder and salt, then rub in the shortening.
Beat eggs and milk together, then stir in.
Use a bit more milk, if necessary, to make a rather soft, yet easily handled dough.
Knead slightly on floured board.
Roll out, to about 1/2-inch.
Cut in triangles or cut out with round biscuit cutter. Bake on ungreased pan in a 425Β° oven for about 15 minutes, or until high and brown.
Serve at once with butter.
