Feather Cake
Feather Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. flour, 2 eggs and milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream together sugar and shortening.
Break eggs into 1 cup measuring cup and finish filling that cup with whole milk. Add the above creamed mixture.
Add flour and flavoring. Blend well. Pour into 9 x 13-inch Pyrex baking dish.
Bake in 375Β° oven until center springs touch.
Cool to lukewarm while preparing frosting.
You may add your own favorite chocolate or lemon frosting.)
