Fast Food Biscuits
Fast Food Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 2 tsp. powdered sugar, 2 tsp. double-acting baking powder, 1 c. buttermilk and 1/2 c. crisco, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and Crisco.
Cut mixture until it resembles cornmeal.
Add buttermilk and stir until the dough does not stick to sides of bowl.
Turn out on floured surface and roll dough for 5 minutes.
Roll out to 1/2-inch thick.
Cut with biscuit cutter.
Place on a greased baking pan.
Coat with melted butter.
Bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes.
