Cream margarine, sugar and eggs.
Add nuts, soda, cinnamon and salt; blend well.
Add applesauce alternately with flour.
Add vanilla.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 to 18 minutes (2 minutes in microwave).
Makes about 50 muffins or 100 small muffins.
