Escalloped Corn
Escalloped Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn, 8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 8 oz. shredded monterey jack cheese, 3 c. sage and onion stuffing croutons and 4 eggs or egg beaters, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Butter a shallow 2-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle half of the corn in the bottom of dish.
Sprinkle half of shredded cheeses over corn.
Cover with half of croutons.
Repeat with remaining corn, cheeses and croutons (making 2 layers).
Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
Pour over ingredients in baking dish.
Press down gently; make sure croutons are moistened.
Dot with butter. Bake 1 1/2 hours in 300Β° oven or until golden brown and puffed.
