English Toffee is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. granulated sugar, 1/2 lb. margarine, 3 tbsp. water, 1 tsp. vanilla and 6 hershey bars, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook sugar, margarine, water and vanilla in a heavy skillet. Stir constantly until it turns dark in color.
Pour into buttered pan.
Place Hershey bars on top.
Spread chocolate around with spatula.
