Energy Chews is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. honey, 4 tbsp. carob powder, 1 c. peeled, grated apple and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Melt the butter and add the next 5 ingredients.
Boil for 1 minute; remove from heat and add the rolled oats, nuts and vanilla. Blend well.
Drop onto oiled cookie sheet or waxed paper.
Let cool and eat.
