Energy Bars
Energy Bars is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed but undiluted, 1/2 c. quick oats (uncooked), 1 c. mixed dried fruits, 1/2 c. raisins and 1/2 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix first 8 ingredients together. Cream together sugar and shortening. Add molasses and egg; mix well. Sift flour and spices together. Add fruit mixture and mix well. Bake in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 325Β°. Bake for 35 minutes.
When cool, cut into bars.
