End Of The Garden Pickles is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. sliced cucumbers, 1 c. chopped sweet peppers, 1 c. chopped cabbage, 1 c. sliced onions and 1 c. chopped green tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Soak cucumbers, peppers, cabbage, onions, celery and tomatoes in salt water overnight (1/2 cup salt to 2 quarts water).
Drain. Cook the carrots and string beans in boiling water until tender; drain water.
Mix soaked and cooked vegetables with remaining ingredients and boil for 10 minutes.
Place in sterilized jars; seal at once.
Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
