Cream together sugar and butter/margarine; add eggs and mix well.
Add flour and sour cream; mix.
Add vanilla and mix.
Pour into tube pan that has been greased and floured.
Place into cold oven.
Set oven at 350Β° and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes without opening oven door or peeking!
