Elephant Stew

Cut elephant into bite-size chunks (this takes approximately 4 weeks).
Place in large black pot.
Cover with water; add salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer over a kerosene fire until tender (about 5 months).
Add potatoes, carrots and onions and cook for about 3 more days.
This serves about 5,000.
If more are expected, add the rabbit, but do so only if necessary, as not too many people like to find a hare in their stew.
