Elephant Stew
Elephant Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large elephant, brown gravy, salt and pepper to taste, 25 bushels mushrooms (fresh) and 6 1/2 bushels american onions, cut in squares, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cut elephant into bite size pieces.
This should take about 2 months.
Add brown gravy and simmer.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Heat whale oil to brown mushrooms, celery and onions.
Mix all ingredients and cook over kerosene fire for 4 weeks at 465Β°. Yield
3,800 or more servings.
If more guests are expected, 2 rabbits may be added, but do this only if necessary, as most people do not like to find hare in their stew.
