Soften yeast in water.

Combine all ingredients.

Mix well. Divide dough into 12 pieces.

Let set 20 minutes.

Roll out on lightly floured board.

Stack with wax paper between each piece. Heat vegetable oil in large, heavy skillet.

Drop in hot grease after it has been stretched out in large circle.

Turn once. Should be lightly browned.

Surface will bubble or blister.

Turn with spatula and broad knife.

Place on paper towel.

Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture or top with canned fruit pie.
