Elbow Macaroni Creole

Fry sausage and remove from pan, saving 4 tablespoons fat. Saute onions and pepper; add tomatoes and seasonings and simmer 15 minutes.
Add sausage.
Cook elbow macaroni.
Alternate layers of macaroni and sausage mixture.
Bake with bread crumbs on top at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
