Cream together 1 cup sugar and cream cheese.
Add eggs (mix well after each), 1 teaspoon vanilla and salt.
Bake in spring-form pan at 325Β° for 50 to 53 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes. Top with sour cream, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla, stirred together.
