Eight Layer Salad
Eight Layer Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, 1 c. frozen peas, cooked, 6 oz. fresh spinach, 1 medium onion, sliced in rings and 1/2 c. celery, thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix the first seven ingredients in layers.
Spread salad dressing on top 3/4 inch thick.
Sprinkle with sugar, salt and white pepper to taste.
Cover with grated Cheddar cheese 3/4 inch thick and top with crisp fried bacon (chopped).
Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours before serving.
