Eggs Fantastic
Eggs Fantastic is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (12 oz.) pkg. sausage, 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced, 1 medium onion, chopped, salt and pepper to taste and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Saute crumbled sausage, mushrooms, onions, salt and pepper.
Drain well on paper towels.
Combine eggs and sour cream in blender for 1 minute.
Pour eggs in greased 7 1/2 x 11 1/2-inch baking dish.
Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes until set in middle.
Spoon hot sauce over eggs and add sausage mixture.
Layer the 3 cheeses, beginning with the Velveeta.
Casserole may be refrigerated or frozen at this point and baked later.
Bake, uncovered, at 300° for 45 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let set for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
