Cook raisins in the 2 cups of water for 15 minutes.
Add while hot the water and sherry; do not stir.
Add salt, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and flour.
Stir this mixture well.
Bake in large pan (lightly greased) at 375Β° for 1 hour.
