Egg Rolls
Egg Rolls is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. good hamburger, 1 tsp. sherry, 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tbsp. brown sugar and 1 tbsp. brown gravy syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
For filling, mix hamburger with sherry, cornstarch, pepper, sugar and brown gravy syrup in a large bowl.
Place oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Add salt and ginger, then the celery and onion.
Cook about 3 minutes.
Add mixed hamburger to skillet, stirring constantly, until the hamburger is in fine pieces.
When hamburger is cooked, place mixture in a colander and drain off excess liquid into a pan.
Spread meat mixture out flat to let cool.
