Egg Foo Yong
Egg Foo Yong is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 3/4 c. chopped onion and 1` c. cooked pork, chicken or shrimp, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Lightly beat eggs, salt and pepper.
Stir in onions, meat, sprouts, green onions and soy sauce (1 tablespoon).
Heat oil in skillet.
Use a ladle and drop 1/4 cup of the mixture into this oil.
Fry until browned on both sides.
Drain.
Mix the cornstarch to a paste with a little broth.
Combine in a saucepan with remaining broth, molasses and remaining soy sauce.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
Pour over patties and serve.
