Egg Foo Yong
Egg Foo Yong is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 3/4 c. chopped onion and 1` c. cooked pork, chicken or shrimp, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Lightly beat eggs, salt and pepper.
Stir in onions, meat, sprouts, green onions and soy sauce (1 tablespoon).
Heat oil in skillet.
Use a ladle and drop 1/4 cup of the mixture into this oil.
Fry until browned on both sides.
Drain.
Mix the cornstarch to a paste with a little broth.
Combine in a saucepan with remaining broth, molasses and remaining soy sauce.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
Pour over patties and serve.
