Mix well the sugar, butter, vanilla and milk; bring to a boil. Beat eggs in mixer real well.
When milk mixture comes to a boil, pour slowly over eggs, beating while pouring into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 350Β° approximately 45 minutes or until crust sets.
