1st Layer
Mix 1 cup plain flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 1/2 cups pecan pieces and 1 stick melted butter.
Press in bottom of 12-inch rectangular Pyrex (or 10-inch round).
Bake for 10 minutes at 375Β° or until light brown.
Chill or allow to cool completely.
