Egg Custard
Egg Custard is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 2 hours 12 minutes. Made with eggs, separated, heaped c. sugar, large can evaporated milk, scant tbsp. flour and butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
The egg custard recipe was told to me by a Great Aunt before she died.
This not a standard recipe and may take some "trial and error" to perfect this one.
The instructions are written as she told them to me.
She used this basic recipe for chocolate, coconut and other flavors well.
But my family enjoys it just as a vanilla cream egg custard.
