Edna Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 2 c. sifted cake flour and 6 large eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

👨🍳 Instructions
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add 2 eggs, one at a time alternately with flour until all ingredients have been mixed. Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Bake 50 minutes at 350°, then increase heat to 400° for remaining ten minutes.
Do not open oven during baking time.
Let cool in pan 20 minutes. Turn top side up on plate.
