Easy Yeast Rolls
Easy Yeast Rolls is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 tbsp. shortening, 2 heaping tbsp. sugar, 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. warm water, 2 c. flour (approximately) and melted butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Melt shortening; add sugar.
Add enough flour to thicken like gravy.
Mix in dissolved yeast; add flour until dough is quite firm.
Use more flour if needed, or less.
Cover and let stand about 15 minutes.
Roll out and cut with rim of small glass.
Fold circle over and dip in melted butter.
Put on greased baking sheet.
Place in cold oven and turn on to 400Β° and bake about 15 minutes, until light brown.
