Easy Vegetable Soup
Easy Vegetable Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 bottle real bacon bits, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 (32 oz.) jar ragu spaghetti sauce with onions and peppers, 1 can beef broth (13 oz.) and 3 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a large Dutch oven, saute bacon and chopped onion until clear.
Combine spaghetti sauce, beef broth, water, basil, salt and pepper and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
Add vegetables and simmer 10 minutes or until done.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
