Easy Shrimp Creole
Easy Shrimp Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. cooked shrimp (about 1 1/2 c.), 1 3/4 c. canned tomatoes, 1/4 c. diced green pepper, 1/4 c. minced onion and 1/2 c. diced celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Saute green pepper, onion and celery in butter until slightly cooked, about 5 minutes.
Add and blend flour.
Combine with tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar and bay leaf.
Cook gently for 30 minutes.
Remove bay leaf.
Add shrimp and Worcestershire sauce. Serve plain or over cooked rice.
