Easy Rolls
Easy Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. sifted plain flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. lukewarm water and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine flour and salt.
Add shortening and mix until consistency of corn meal.
Add sugar and yeast to warm water. Stir until dissolved.
Add to flour mixture.
Turn onto floured board; knead well.
Make into desired shapes; brush tops with butter.
Allow to rise for about 1 1/2 hours in a warm place until double in bulk.
Bake in preheated 450Β° oven.
