Easy Pound Cake
Easy Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 1/2 c. crisco shortening, 1 c. milk and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix all ingredients together.
Beat 2 1/2 minutes with mixer. Cook in Bundt pan, greased and floured.
Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes in a 300Β° oven.
Do not open oven until 1 hour and 10 minutes is up.
Check with toothpick to see if cake is done.
If not, cook a few more minutes until cake is done.
Cool a few minutes, then remove from
Bundt pan on cake plate.
Ice with frosting, if desired.
