Easy Hot Rolls
Easy Hot Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, 1 tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.
Pour boiling water over salt, sugar and shortening; let cool.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Add flour a little at a time.
(Sometimes I use a little less than 4 cups.)
Let rise until double in bulk.
Punch down and roll out into small balls.
Let rise and bake at 400Β° until brown. Can be refrigerated for a few days before baking.
