Easy Green Chili
Easy Green Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. beef stew meat, 1 (16 oz.) can hominy or 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up, 1 large onion, chopped and 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chili peppers, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Trim separable fat from stew meat, then cut in 3/4-inch pieces. In a 3-quart saucepan, stir together meat, hominy or corn, undrained tomatoes, onion, chili pepper, water, oregano, bouillon granules and garlic.
Heat to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
