Easy Golden Layer Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix, 1 (16 oz.) frozen pound cake, thawed and 1/3 c. almond flavored liqueur, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine undrained pineapple, thawed whipped topping and pudding mix.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Cut cake lengthwise in thirds. Drizzle with liqueur.
Spread 1/3 of pudding mixture over bottom layer of cake.
Top with second layer.
Repeat layering with pudding.
Chill 30 minutes.
Sprinkle with toasted, sliced almonds.
Serves 12.
