Easy English Trifle
Easy English Trifle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 2 c. milk, divided, 1 (4 oz. size) pkg. jell-o vanilla instant pudding, 2 1/2 c. cubed sara lee pound cake and fresh strawberries, bananas and pineapple tidbits, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soak banana slices in pineapple juice.
Mix cream cheese and 1/2 cup milk in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
Add pudding mix and remaining 1 1/2 cups milk.
Beat on low speed 1 minute.
Layer 1/2 of cake, fruit and pudding mixture, then layer of Cool Whip; repeat layers.
Cover and refrigerate.
