Easy Chocolate Cake
Easy Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks margarine, 1 c. water, 4 tbsp. cocoa, 2 c. plain flour and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
In a large saucepan, bring to a boil the margarine, water and cocoa.
Sift together the dry ingredients and stir into boiling mixture (do not beat).
In a small bowl, beat eggs, buttermilk and vanilla together.
Stir into hot mixture.
Pour into pan.
Bake only 20 minutes in a preheated 400Β° oven.
Frost in the pan with Easy Chocolate Icing while cake is still hot.
When cooled completely, cover tightly.
