Easy Beer Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. self-rising flour, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 (12 oz.) can beer, at room temperature, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix flour and sugar; add beer in thirds.
Batter will foam and make stiff dough.
Pour into greased bread pan.
Smooth over top. Bake 1 hour at 350Β°.
Upon removing from oven, smear top with butter or margarine (about 1/8 pound).
Cool on rack.
Raisins, nuts and cinnamon are optional.
