Easy Banana Nut Bread
Easy Banana Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 3 eggs, beaten, 2 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cream shortening and sugar in mixer bowl until light.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in large bowl.
Add to shortening mixture alternately with bananas, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in nuts.
Spoon into greased 5 x 9-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until brown.
Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
