Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour rectangular pan, 13 x 9-inch.
Mix sugar, oil and eggs until blended.
Beat 1 minute. Stir in remaining ingredients except apples and nuts.
Beat 1 minute.
Stir in apples and nuts.
Pour in pan.
Bake until toothpick comes out clean, about 35 to 40 minutes.
