Eastern Chili
Eastern Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. hamburger, 4 cloves garlic, sliced, 2 medium onions, diced, 1 (7 oz.) can diced green chiles and 2 cans pitted black olives, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook hamburger, garlic and onions; remove fat.
Put cooked hamburger mixture into stock pot and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and put on lid.
Let stand for 1 to 2 hours, reheating to serve.
For best results, make 1 to 2 days ahead of time.
Keep refrigerated until ready to heat and serve.
Cornbread goes nicely with this chili.
