Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Mix coconut and pecans and spread on bottom of pan.
Mix the German chocolate cake according to directions and pour over coconut-pecan mixture.
Mix together cream cheese, butter or oleo, powdered sugar and nuts and spread over top.
This will fill the pan awful full when it bakes, so put a cookie sheet or something under cake pan to catch spillage (if you are fussy about your oven).
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
