Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped, 1 box german chocolate cake mix, prepared as directed, 1 stick margarine, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese and 1 (3 oz.) can coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Use a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pan.
Sprinkle coconut over pecans.
Melt butter and cream cheese together.
Add powdered sugar; mix well.
Pour cake mix batter over coconut, then cream cheese mixture over cake batter.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Remove from heat; cool.
Cut into squares and serve.
