Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. coconut, 1 c. chopped fine pecans, 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 8 oz. cream cheese and 2 sticks margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Grease 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan with margarine.
Put coconut and pecans in margarine covered pan.
Mix cake mix as directions instruct.
Pour cake mix over pecan mixture.
Soften cream cheese and 1 stick of margarine.
Mix the powdered sugar with enough milk to make a thin cake icing.
Now mix cream cheese mixture and powdered sugar.
Pour over cake mix.
Now bake at 350Β° for about 45 minutes.
Cake is done when cracks appear in cake.
