Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. chopped pecans, 1 c. coconut, 1 german chocolate cake mix, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. philadelphia cream cheese and 1 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease well a 9 x 13-inch sheet pan. Put coconut on bottom of pan, then sprinkle the pecans.
Prepare cake mix according to directions and pour over pecans.
In another bowl cream together the powdered sugar, margarine, cream cheese and vanilla.
Spoon this mixture over cake mix.
Bake for 45 minutes. Cake should crack in the middle.
