Eagle Brand Pound Cake
Eagle Brand Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. butter, 3 c. sugar, 8 eggs, 3 1/2 c. all-purpose enriched flour and 1 can eagle brand milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Let eggs and butter stand until they are room temperature (overnight).
Blend butter and sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add milk and flour alternately.
Add vanilla.
Bake in a large tube pan.
Preheat oven to 250Β°.
Bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. More than likely it will take the 2 1/2 hours.
