Dunbar Macaroni
Dunbar Macaroni is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can beef broth (swanson), 1 can chicken broth (swanson), 1 can tomatoes, mashed (16 oz.) or use stewed tomatoes, 2 c. macaroni (muellers, small) and 10 oz. sharp cheese (cracker barrel), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Add beef, chicken broth and mashed potatoes to a pot.
Add macaroni to mix and salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for 15 minutes (slow boil) while stirring frequently to keep macaroni from sticking.
Cut up 3/4 of the cheese and add to the mixture, stirring as you add.
After cheese has melted, remove from stove. Pour in casserole dish and let stand for 15 minutes. Cut the remaining cheese in thin slices and place on top of casserole. Heat, uncovered, in 350Β° oven for 20 minutes before serving.
